The Findings: 1/ Woman place more emphasis on the taste and smell of the person they kiss, and were much more likely to refuse to have sex with a bad kisser. Both indicate women use kissing to to make mate assessments.
2/Men were more likely to expect kissing to lead to sex.They were also more likely to want to exchange more saliva during a kiss, perhaps to detect whether a woman is fertile.
3/ Woman were more likely to say kissing was important throughout a relationship, using kissing to create a bond.
ITS THE SAME FOR ALL TONGUES:
1/ About 90% of human cultures kiss to express affection.
2/ One traditional view is that kissing also known as osculation, evolved from women chewing food for their children and giving it to them mouth to mouth, a lot like birds,according to a noted university anthropologist.

wow, you make females sound like hormonal animals. and im going to have to defend the guys on this one. not all of the guys i know kiss for sex ,you can give a scientific explanation for mating but you cant give a scientific name for affection .
