I read your post and have to add that in GB there seem to be at times multicultural tensions, too. The introduction of Faith Schools by Toni Blair promoted the idea of living side by side and he used this idea to avoid frictions between different minority groups.

I just read a book - fiction - to my nephew about a talking dog that was given a genetically-modified voicebox. So I guess it is possible.

The insurgents came in from the surrounding area supposedly patrolled by the Hungarians who will not patrol at night. The Kiwis will patrol there too. They are regular force troops, not SAS, who were sent home. They may smuggle some SAS back by putting them among the regular force for their experience there. Not a pleasant place for a brave son. Funny that,eh? And they once accused us of sitting down while winning medals; that was the Games we actually won more gold medals than them. We don't mind sitting on our bums rowing, riding horses, bikes or even yachting. Good games. We hope for one or two more gold and a few silver or bronze. Big Val will give us gold in the women's shotput more…

The formula for New Zealand Marmite contains less salt and more sugar The English version is manufactured at Burton on Trent and I believe in Greenwich the idea came from Germany the salt is used for its osmotic effect on the membrane of the brewers yeast. I love it. !I find the Australian vegemite difficult to spread Thanks for your post more…
